Main Duties & Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills for manufacturing installation tooling assembly components.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies:
Reads and interprets documents (blue prints, drawing, or manufacturing work orders), to ascertain what tools and materials are necessary for producing installation tooling assembly components.
Sets up and operates, on a production basis, all assigned CNC machinery and their related products.
This includes computer related settings and adjustments required to produce parts to specifications.Selects, mounts and aligns tooling attachments and materials in proper order and relationship. Makes all computer and machines adjustments necessary to produce parts of acceptable quality. Loads machines with raw material and monitors production run using measuring devices and various inspect gauges. Reworks and directs reworking of tooling as needed. Meets and maintains all productivity levels and quality
requirements to support departmental goals and schedules. Performs minor preventative maintenance on assigned machines. Performs record keeping, data entry, housekeeping, and follows safety regulations
Qualifications
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Blueprint Reading:
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Computer Skills:
Must be computer literate and skilled in CNC machinery software installation and usage.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). A minimum of 1 years experience in programming and setting up CNC machinery; or equivalent combination on education and experience.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and
arms and stoop or kneel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and depth perception.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
