Outside Sales

OBJECTIVE:
Grow both revenue (sales) and gross margin within your sales area, while maintaining existing accounts.
Actively participate in all sales programs, strategies and policies to achieve the targeted growth for salesterritory.
Responsibilities:
The essential functions of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Sales1.
Maintain existing accounts, while looking for opportunity to improve margins and total sales volumes.
2.
Secure new profitable business, with major focus on gas accounts.
3.
Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needscould be met by specific products and services.
4.
Grow both revenue (sales) and gross margin within your sales area.
5.
Establish product pricing and related policies; resolve pricing issues for your territory.
6.
Perform customer cylinder audit.
7.
Work closely with Sales Manager and Accounting in collections and accounts receivableactivities.
8.
Understand your market, types of businesses and the competition.
Understand principles andmethods for showing, promoting, and selling products, including marketing strategies andtactics.
9.
Assist in communication regarding inventory levels, marketing information and performance ofvarious departments within the company.
10.
Stay informed on new products and processes.

Qualifications:
Education:

degree in business, marketing or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years progressively responsible sales.
Distributor background preferred.
POSITION DIMENSIONS:
Responsible for generating annual sales revenues of approximately $1.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
